01 / Straight into the adventure

Less waiting.
More world.

Choose a name. Make a character.
Then step into the real game.

No class to lock in at creation. No long list of starting stats to solve. Make your character yours, find your footing, and learn by doing — from the first swing to your first spell.

02 / Your hands. Your choices.

Find your fighting style.

A spell, a blade, a bow, a shield. Develop your skills through play.

Magery

The art of magery

Speak the words. Shape the fight.

Call down lightning, hurl fire, heal your wounds, or step across the battlefield. Choose your spell and time your cast — mana and reagents matter.

Fire • Lightning • Healing • Teleportation

03 / Beyond the next horizon

One realm.
Many roads.

Cities, open country, and dungeons belong to one continuous world. Walk the roads, descend the stairs, or take a travel gate to distant places. Every journey leads somewhere.

01

Your first horizon

Sunford & the Vale

Find your footing in the meadows outside Sunford. Follow the river to Stillglass Lake, then venture into Wolfwood or beyond the walls of Fort Hollin.

A gentle beginning. Wilder roads ahead.
02

Three levels below

The Crypt

Beneath Sunford’s church, the Mourning Vaults give way to the Ossuary. Take the stairs deeper, if you dare: Hackwell waits in his Larder.

Rats, ghouls, wraiths — and worse.
03

The road through the mountain

Hammerholt

Pass through Kingsfoot and the Gate of Kings. Cross the Lowmarrow to reach a dwarf city of forges, carved halls, and the Heartstone.

The road is earned. There is no shortcut in.
04

Five descents into fire

The Ashfathom

Sulfur galleries, an ashen temple, and a burning river lead to Pyrrhax’s Caldera. The Cinder Wyrm guards the end of the descent.

Watch the ground. Watch the dragon’s breath.
05

A moment of peace

The Haven

An island sanctuary reached through portals. Meet your party, catch your breath, and choose the next road. Here, no one can harm another.

A shared refuge in a dangerous world.

From the depths / The Crypt

Meet Hackwell.
Leave together.

Hackwell the Flesher

Three levels beneath Sunford’s church, the stairs end at his Larder. Ghouls and wraiths are only the beginning. Wound him, and his rage makes the next exchange even more dangerous.

Bring a plan. Bring a party.
Make sure someone is watching your back.

At the end of the descent / The Ashfathom

Five levels down.
One last fire.

Pyrrhax the Cinder Wyrm

Beyond the sulfur galleries, the ashen temple, and the burning river lies a lake of lava. At its heart, a red wyrm guards an island of gold.

Watch for the windup. Step out of his fire breath before it lands. Wound him enough, and the Cinder Wyrm’s fury only grows.

The final boss of the Ashfathom.
Bring more than courage.

04 / Better with someone beside you

Your story.
Shared with others.

Say hello to someone on the road. Invite them to your party. Keep talking even when your paths take you to opposite ends of the realm.

Local speech appears overhead. Party chat stays between your companions, wherever they are. And when the fighting is done, the Haven gives everyone a place to gather in peace.

05 / A realm with rules

The world keeps turning.

Server-authoritative.

Every swing and every coin is decided by the realm, not your device.

One sky. One clock.

Day and night on one clock for everyone. Some things only stir after dark.

Ready for the road.

Mounts, potions, parties, and a sanctuary where no blade can harm another.

Real loot.

Claim the spoils from fallen monsters. Take what you need — what you leave behind decays.

06 / Before you set out

A few things
to know.

Start small. The realm will still be there when you’re ready to go further.

Where can I play?

Steel Shall Speak is being developed for iOS and Android. The App Store and Google Play listings are not live yet; links will appear here when they are ready.

Do I choose a class?

No class is chosen during character creation. Pick your name and appearance, then develop skills such as magery, sword, bow, and parry through play.

Can I adventure on my own?

You can set out on your own and start with easier creatures around Sunford. It is a shared online world, so other adventurers can cross your path. A party is especially useful when you head deeper into dangerous places.

How do parties work?

Invite nearby players and form a party of up to eight. Party chat has no distance limit and stays between members. Parties last for the current session; be careful, because party membership does not prevent friendly fire.

What happens when I fall?

Your possessions are left on your corpse. Seek a resurrection shrine and make your way back. Other players can loot corpses, so the journey home matters.

07 / Coming to mobile

The realm is taking shape.
Your place in it awaits.
